Jenny Petridis is an internationally renown Bowen Therapist from Melbourne, who has taken her work around the globe – recently (2016) to Barcelona, Spain and, pioneering Bowen in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is also a qualified Remedial Massage therapist, who uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote restoration and rehabilitation.
She became interested in the gentle technique of Bowen after discovering how it can facilitate healing in such an effective, intelligent and non-intrusive way. Jenny brings to her work a grounded, intuitive, knowledgeable and practical approach. She is highly skilled in her work and of the body, with fine therapeutic skills and an innate understanding of what her patients require for their optimal healing. Her sessions provide not only physical wellbeing and improvement, but also facilitate mind-body healing through her wisdom, touch and compassion.
Jenny works holistically, bridging the gap between the physical injuries/pain/conditions and stimulating the regulation of the nervous system, which essentially assists to create the conditions for optimum healing. In recent years she has presented Bowen to international audiences in Congresses in Argentina and Spain, which have proved to be an important step in researching and understanding her work on a cellular level. She integrates this invaluable knowledge into her work and through her healing hands.

With this way of life, she endeavours to encourage her patients to embody their body better, well after their Bowen sessions for long-term health and pain-free movement.
Jenny is currently preparing for her new project inspired by her recent immersion into the world of fascia and therapies – coming up is a workshop/seminar for Bowen therapists that will enhance their work.
Here’s a recent one:
“Thanks Jenny, the Bowen session with you was enriching and fascinating. I felt as though I was a musical instrument that you were tuning. You would strum a chord and then wait to listen to the resonance, I don’t know what happened in between but when you went to strum the same chord again a little while later it sounded with a completely different harmony. I left singing another tune!”
