I’m Andrew, and I’m a qualified counsellor and Psychotherapist. I’m experienced in many therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Focusing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Trauma Informed Practice, and the Rites of Passage Methodology.
I help clients find a way forward when they’re experiencing things such as:
- Low self-worth and motivation
- Relationship difficulties
- Parenting struggles
- Work troubles
- Life transitions
- Overall negative mental health
I specialise in working with men and also women who feel they would benefit from the experience of intentional relating with a man.This may be of particular benefit for women who have experienced trauma and anxiety in previous relationships with men.
By nature, I’m an easy-going human and it’s my aim to help you feel at home in the counselling space. This is an important consideration when finding a counsellor well-suited to you, and especially important for those who are new to the space of talk-therapy.
