Rebeka Harriott, Jungian Psychotherapist

Rebeka Harriot, Clinical PsychologistAs a psychotherapist Rebeka provides a space to reflect on what is important to you. This may include current issues or previous experiences that continue to impact you and your relationships today.

Rebeka Harriott works with a wide variety of psychological issues with a special interest in the areas of: sexual assault and other traumatic experiences, relationships, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and loss & those seeking to deepen their understanding of themselves.

Rebeka specialises in Jungian Psychotherapy offering:

  • Counselling: which is traditionally shorter term and may focus on a particular issue / goal.
  • Psychotherapy: which is typically longer term and can involve weekly or twice weekly sessions allowing for greater depth and exploration.

As a part of her therapeutic approach Rebeka also offers individual Dream Work and Sandplay. These modalities provide a space to play and connect with our own inner symbolic worlds. She will also be facilitating regular Dream Groups at The Urban Alchemist.

Rebeka’s professional experience includes over ten years within sexual assault agencies as well as university counselling services, hospitals and crisis counselling settings. Her approach is fundamentally humanistic and draws on a range of theoretical perspectives including person centred theory, trauma and attachment theory, feminist perspectives, Jungian and Post Jungian concepts.

Her style is collaborative where together, within the safety of the therapeutic relationship we can deepen your understanding of yourself, strengthen your ways of managing and make sense of the challenges within life’s rich tapestry.
