I was carrying around chronic pain that I thought I would never get rid of. I’m managing to stay pain-free through the week now and I’m over the moon!

Dr Ren Jin, Acupuncturist & Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Dr Ren Jin AcupuncturistRaised in a multi-generational Chinese Medicine herbalist family in China, and over 10 years of practice in shiatsu, zenthai shiatsu and Chinese Medicine, I approach holistic health with deep passion and inherited intuition. I believe that the healing power lies within my patients themselves. My treatment approach is to serve as a channel for the patient’s body’s intelligence, listening deeply to cultivate an environment where the body can process, heal, and rejuvenate itself.

I am particularly passionate about treating:

  • Chronic pain & sports injuries
  • Lower back pain, neck & shoulder pain
  • Chronic stress & anxiety
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Insomnia
  • Women’s health & fertility
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Diet & gut health

What Might be Expected in Your Session:

  • A safe, nurturing, and caring treatment environment
  • Feeling rested, balanced, and empowered after the session
  • Seamless integration of acupuncture, bodywork, and visualization techniques that guide you on an inner psychosomatic journey
  • Chinese Herbal Medicine (if required)
  • Personalised lifestyle, diet, and exercise tips

I believe that most dis-ease stems from disconnections – from Nature, Each other, and Self.

My therapeutic practice aims to restore these essential connections, and I embody this principle in my personal life as well – I’m currently cultivating a medicinal herbs food forest at home, embracing a slow, sustainable “farm-to-table” lifestyle. Cooking is my passion – creating dishes that nourish not just the body, but the soul.
In my spare time, I host somatic movement workshops and research projects at my home retreat centre in the woods of St Andrews. With over a decade of meditation practice, I continuously explore mindfulness techniques that I integrate into my therapy.

I look forward to being a part of your health journey.
