Sam combines her practice of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with Chinese Remedial massage.
What’s the difference between a regular Remedial Massage and a Chinese Remedial Massage? Sam explains that Chinese Remedial Massage operates within a Traditional Chinese Medicine framework, and includes both deep tissue massage and work with meridians and acupressure points in the muscles. This allows not only an effective treatment for musculoskeletal complaints but also incorporates the treatment of more energetic disharmonies (eg. digestive complaints, stress, anxiety) into the massage.
Sam’s massage is generally a strong style, but she is flexible and sensitive to your individual needs. She also provides cupping and may use Chinese Herbal Formulas in your wellness treatment.
Sam has had excellent success in managing a whole range of dis-harmonies with her clients over the years; from musculoskeletal complaints to fertility support, digestive issues and stress-related conditions to anxiety and depression. She will often combine acupuncture and massage in one treatment, but can also provide acupuncture or massage alone.
