As a registered clinical psychologist Sarah draws upon a range of evidence-based methods tailored to the individual. Sarah can help you explore difficulties and find new ways of experiencing problems and choosing solutions.
There is a welcome space for playfulness in therapy as well as compassionate, here-and-now focus on the emotional snags that generate unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, relating and behaving. This work may include resolving unfinished business from the past to access the vitality that is available to you now.
Sarah’s approach includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt Therapy and mindfulness based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She also works with EMDR.
