Sumedha offers her clients individualised treatments to suit their unique needs, drawing from a wide range of therapeutic modalities such as trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, myofascial release and stretching.
She has a strong background in pain and injury management, and working with neck pain and lower back pain. Sumedha understands well the benefits of massage for people with symptoms of anxiety and depression. and aims to bring a sense of comfort and fun to treatments.
Sumedha has been a massage therapist since 2011 and is currently completing her final year of a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She holds extensive experience in massage therapy education and currently teaches the Diploma of Remedial Massage at Victoria University which she has done since 2015.
Outside of clinical practice, Sumedha enjoys most forms of movement and music. Like all of our practitioners, she welcomes Indigenous Australians and people from diverse cultures, sexualities and genders.
Sumedha offers a limited number of sessions on Saturday mornings.
